Terms of Service
Last updated: September 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Liminal ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.
2. Description of Service
Liminal is a professional browser application designed for managing multiple accounts and browser profiles. The Service includes the desktop application, web interface, and related services.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe upon the rights of others
- Distribute malware or harmful code
- Engage in fraudulent activities
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
5. Subscriptions and Payments
Some features require a paid plan. Plans are paid in advance for a period of one, three, six or twelve months, in cryptocurrency through our payment provider; nothing renews automatically, and when a period ends the team returns to the free plan with its data intact.
The first payment made for a team is refundable in full if you ask us within seven days of it, and is refunded in the cryptocurrency it was paid in, less the network fee. Later payments — a further period, additional seats or an upgrade — are not refundable, and refunds are not provided for partial periods. The full terms, including how to ask and how long it takes, are on our trust, payment and support page.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Liminal and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
7. Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Liminal shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service.
9. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by posting the new Terms on this page.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Liminal operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
